Join BackRoads Kitchener, River Rats Run Club, and Four Fathers Brewing for an epic collab built around running, good food, cold drinks, and community.
Despite what the name suggests, this is NOT A RACE! We're keeping this one low-pressure and social. There are no timing clocks or finish times to chase, just a chance to get some kilometres in with a great group, explore some local routes around Cambridge and spend some time with the local running community (although the faster you run, the sooner you get beer and food)!
The idea is simple: Choose a distance, get out for a run, make your way back to BackRoads, and stick around for a post-run hang. Whether you're looking for a longer point-to-point run, an easy 5K, or something in between, there’s an option for you. We will also be offering a free drop bag service for the routes that don't start at BackRoads!
We'll have a local food vendor onsite with an easy and affordable lunch option, plus BackRoads' always rotating lineup of craft beer, featuring some Four Fathers favourites, plus the regular lineup of coffee, Kombucha and other non-alc beverages.
Come for the run, stay for lunch & a bevvy, and hang out for the afternoon.
Choose Your Run
~24K | Four Fathers → BackRoads
Start at Four Fathers Brewing in Cambridge and follow the point-to-point route to BackRoads Kitchener. Two aid stations will be available along the route.
~15K | Conestoga College → BackRoads
A point-to-point option starting at Conestoga College and joining the route toward BackRoads. One aid station will be available along this route.
5K Social Run
If you're looking for something shorter, you can also join our regular 5K social run route and be part of the day's festivities.

Prefer to set your own distance? Start at BackRoads and head out for an out-and-back at whatever distance and pace works for you.

Registration is free, but please register so we have an idea of numbers and can plan food, aid stations, and the post-run festivities accordingly!
